Is it a break from the mundane life? No it isn't. It's no where close to what excites me about travel.
For me travel is what allows me to be closer to what I always dreamt to be- an explorer, an adventurer, a historian, a wildlife expert, an Indiana Jones: exploring forests, traversing mountains, deserts, learning new cultures.
In a bid to be closer to my childhood fantasies I set up Get Lost (a travel company). Living your childhood fantasy and making money seems to be a tough job but at least its fun.
As a kid I imagined myself exploring the mighty Ganga from the source in the Himalayas to the end in the mangroves of Sunderbans.
